Material Matrix: Choosing the Right Protection

Understanding the science behind every coating to ensure the perfect match for your specific industrial challenges.

PU COATING: PRECISION & DEXTERITY

Featuring our proprietary X-FLEX™ 18-gauge liner technology, SQG’s PU coatings provide a 'second skin' feel. It is the ultimate choice for intricate assembly and clean-room environments where tactile sensitivity is critical.

NITRILE COATING: THE INDUSTRIAL WORKHORSE

Engineered for heavy-duty protection. Our Nitrile series, integrated with EZGRIP® micro-finish, delivers superior suction-cup grip in oily or wet conditions while providing maximum resistance against abrasions and chemicals.

LATEX COATING: NATURAL GRIP & COMFORT

Utilizing high-grade natural rubber, our crinkle latex technology ensures exceptional dry and wet grip for construction and glass handling. Available in BioFirst® sustainable versions for eco-conscious procurement.

PROPRIETARY CORE TECHNOLOGIES

Innovating every fiber and coating to redefine the limits of hand protection.

Revolutionizing Oily Grip

Traditional nitrile fails in oily environments as fluids create a lubricant layer. Our proprietary EZGRIP® micro-finish acts like thousands of microscopic suction cups, displacing oil to create an unbreakable vacuum bond between the glove and the surface.

Health Meets Performance

Safety goes beyond physical protection. PolyMAX® water-based foam technology is 100% DMF-free and Silicone-free. It provides a leather-like texture that ensures 360° breathability, keeping hands cool and healthy during long-shift precision work.

Bare-Hand Precision

Experience the ultimate tactile sensitivity. Utilizing advanced 18-gauge knitting technology, the X-FLEX™ liner weighs under 22g yet surpasses 12,000 abrasion cycles. It completely eliminates hand fatigue, allowing for surgical precision in industrial manufacturing.

SAFETY GLOVE DIPPING & MATERIALS FAQs

What is the difference between PU, Nitrile, and Latex glove coatings?

PU (Polyurethane) provides maximum dexterity and 360° breathability, making it ideal for dry, precision micro-assembly. Nitrile, specifically our proprietary EZGRIP® micro-finish, offers superior oil resistance and a mechanical vacuum grip for oily environments. Latex delivers excellent elasticity and heavy-duty cut resistance but is typically not recommended for oil contact.

For heavy oil and wet conditions, our EZGRIP® Nitrile coating is the industry standard. Unlike standard smooth nitrile that allows fluids to create a slippery lubricant layer, our micro-finish acts like thousands of microscopic suction cups. It instantly displaces oil to create a secure, unbreakable vacuum bond with metal parts and tools.

Traditional PU glove manufacturing often uses DMF (Dimethylformamide), a toxic solvent that can cause skin allergies. SQG’s PolyMAX® water-based foam technology is 100% DMF-free and silicone-free. This ecological manufacturing process not only protects the environment but ensures hypoallergenic, ultra-soft comfort for workers during long 8-hour shifts.

Yes. Gloves utilizing our PolyMAX® water-based polymer are rigorously tested and comply with FDA food-grade standards and EU 10/2011 regulations for food contact. They provide a safe, non-toxic barrier for both the wearer and the consumable products in the food processing industry.

The “gauge” refers to the number of stitches per inch. Our X-FLEX™ 18-gauge liner utilizes high-density knitting to create a glove that weighs under 22 grams. This ultra-lightweight, “bare-hand” profile significantly reduces muscle resistance and hand fatigue, directly increasing worker productivity and surgical precision in high-tech manufacturing.

Our advanced dipping formulas significantly extend product lifespan. While standard economy gloves often fail around 2,000 abrasion cycles, our engineered coatings routinely surpass 12,000 abrasion cycles under EN388 testing. This extreme durability reduces replacement frequency, ultimately lowering your facility’s total PPE procurement costs.

Through our HOLDZERO™ initiative, our 28,000㎡ modern production base operates with a 6,800㎡ solar power grid and a 100% wastewater and DMF recovery system. Partnering with SQG means upgrading your hand protection while simultaneously reducing your supply chain’s carbon footprint to meet global ESG requirements.

Absolutely. As a direct manufacturer with a 7.2 million pair annual capacity, SQG excels in OEM/ODM partnerships. We can fully customize liner gauges (13g, 15g, 18g), coating materials, dipping styles (palm, 3/4, full dip), and surface textures to meet the specific safety compliance needs of your brand.
