In the pursuit of a sustainable and eco-friendly future, SQG proudly introduces HOLDZERO®, a groundbreaking initiative revolutionizing the landscape of glove manufacturing. Committed to safety, comfort, and lasting performance, HOLDZERO® goes beyond traditional norms, embracing a comprehensive approach towards environmental responsibility and innovation.

Aligned with global agreements such as the PARIS Agreement, Defra’s Greening Government Commitments, Kyoto Protocol, and Greenhouse Carbon Protocol Corporate Standard, HOLDZERO® is our ambitious plan to achieve a zero-carbon factory by 2040. Under the guidance and supervision of SGS, we are actively taking strides towards a greener and more sustainable future.

Zero Wasted Water

We operated a zero-discharge liquid treatment system.

This system contains three storage tanks of wastewater, clean water and purified DMF, which can be purified and used as needed.

90% of water is recycled and we don’t just save water, we also recover 99% DMF whereas classical systems waste around 20% of it. Our DMF recovery system will separation of virtually every drop of DMF from waste liquids and vapors, allowing unlimited reuse as a reaction solvent for production.

We are proud of our zero liquid system, we discharge zero wastewater to nature.

Green Power

We built a 10,000-square-meters (1.4 standard football field) rooftop solar system, which generates enough power for all production lines (1,500,000 Kvh/year). Through the energy storage system, we can use this green electricity more reasonably, such as providing lighting at night and charging electric vehicles.

We encouraged employees to drive electric vehicles and charged for free. So far, these vehicles have traveled 268,000 kilometers in total through solar energy supplementation, reducing fuel consumption by about 21.4 tons (reducing 49,220 kg CO2).

Production Improvement

In terms of production, we used more energy-saving robots to replace heavy chain systems to complete dipping process, shorten the energy-consuming oven system, use the Internet of Things system to reduce the number of transportation times and shorten the path of raw materials in the factory, and develop more durable products that reduce waste of resources.

We also embrace water-based manufacturing to reduce environmental impact, ensuring that our coated gloves meet the highest standards while minimizing the use of harmful substances. Additionally, we are actively reducing our digital footprint to contribute to a cleaner environment.

BIO-FIRST® From Nature

To reduce the use of fossil materials as much as possible.
We prefer to use bio-based materials to manufacture products. The series named BIOFIRST® is made of more than 30% bio-based materials, with a better feel, better physical properties and reasonable prices.

Our commitment to sustainability extends to our products, with certifications including OEKO-TEX 100, GRS, USDA & OK-BIO-BASED. Our main products, POLYMAX coated gloves, showcase our dedication to creating real benefits while minimizing environmental harm.

ECO Packing

Recognizing the environmental impact of packaging, we operate a plastic-free packaging workshop. Hollow pattern design, Bio-based inks, FSC certified paper, biodegradable bags made of cornstarch and hang cards without plastic spikes – replacing the old way.

By the end of 2025, we aim to make a significant percentage of our packaging reusable, recyclable, or compostable, contributing to a more sustainable product life cycle.

Carbon Nature Target

In 2023, we join forces with mother nature, running an 82 acres of peach orchards in our town. In addition sweet taste, it can also fixing 29 tons of carbon dioxide every year.

Our overarching goal is to achieve NET ZERO by 2040. To measure and account for our carbon footprint, we adhere to the Carbon footprint ISO 14064-1 standards. Initiatives like running peach orchards that absorb 29 tons of carbon dioxide annually showcase our commitment to combating climate change.
